Facility InformationLocated in the outskirts of Ramona, California, the Sierra South Horseshoeing School has a comfortable classroom in addition to a spacious and fully equipped workshop, which is open 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, for students to practice outside school hours.The school maintains bunkhouse accommodations for men and women, that include kitchen, laundry facilities, satellite TV, and VCR. Location - Driving Directions -The Sierra South Horseshoeing School is located just northeast of San Diego, on historic Old Julian Highway in the scenic town of Ramona. Ramona is a small town with a rich cattle ranching and gold mining history. Pleasant year round temperatures, picturesque surroundings, and an abundance of horses, combined with the fact that Ramona is located close to many of Southern California's finest attractions, make the Sierra South Horseshoeing School the first choice of many aspiring farriers. |
